I don’t see what ya see with that Mowalola s***. That era had me nervous for YZY Gap.

I’d take the Balenci era over that any day of the week. The only real issue is pricing. But the actual collection better than what I was seeing from Mowalola influenced s***. The best pieces from 2020 is the regular SZN 8 items. Those colorful cargos n s*** wasn’t hitting and I still think the weakest piece he released was that round jacket. I think the brand is still recovering from that being the first piece that the general public seen.

dingyun had szn 8 looking amazing and like an actually interesting brand for once, which is kinda how you knew kanye wasn't the one behind it since it looked way different and some jp inspired.

The rumoured YZY Gap pieces to begin with. The colorful cargos and s***. There’s fit pics of Ye wearing them s***s in Wyoming. Those s***s trash. Round jacket I attribute to her era as well and it’s the weakest s***. She was still part of YZY Gap when that was released. Those pieces are definitely worst than the Balenci inspired s*** imo.

SZN 8 fire and I think that’s definitely better than the Balenci collection. However, I think some of those SZN 8 pieces will make its way to YZY Gap. I just think the Balenci collection. Not price point but the collection is a step in the right direction from what I was seeing before from just YZY Gap in general.

The round jacket was her era. She was still head of YZY Gap when that piece released. Also some of those pics from that era of rumoured YZY Gap pieces weren’t hitting imo.

The outerwear in this balenciaga collection is so incredibly boring and almost generic.

I would bet it's more because ye was recording in the stadium, walking around the pitch dark & hearing the music in there.

Hence the change from LP1 Hurricane beat to the more ominous, echoing final version. Or all those pics in the dark warehouse with Carti. Not sure when ye started wearing all black though.

I've only really paid attention to the few pieces i was interested in, like the vests he wore oon his ranch, the perfect hoodies before they actually dropped, cause colors and fit don't look the same.

i hope the round jacket wasn't some weird kanye ubisoft downgrade of the cropped puffer from szn 8. Pretty sure the two boots are the only things we've gotten so far
