yes
lmao that’s literally it
I'm not asian so I'm not going to say whether or not someone should be offended by this but I thought the entire song was gonna be dedicated to it
I believe that like 99.9999999% of people truly and genuinely would not inconvenience themselves or make even the smallest of sacrifices to help a cause that they don't identify with.
Like c'mon guys. Everyone in this thread. You all KNOW DAMN WELL these lyrics ain't right. But you're not impacting personally by them so you don't want to be bothered pushing for them to be removed because either you like the song and/or you're afraid a different song you do like could be next target for something like this. It's not even that you disagree with people's reasons for wanting this down, you just simply can't be bothered.
Problem in America is that most white people have this same attitude on racism... "I know racism is wrong but you got me f'd up if you think I'm gonna lift a finger or sacrifice anything for a cause that doesn't benefit me, you're all on your own." Until people start genuinely giving a damn about other people nothing's ever going to change.
Can’t speak for the others but as a black man I personally think this is a racist song and should be taken down.
The problem is I don’t think a major corporation like Google should be the one to make that decision. Once you open that Pandora’s box people are going to be calling for all kinds of songs to be removed. YG and Def Jam have take it down themselves.

they think it is and miss the point of the song.
i assume most arent rap fans or maybe idk and it’s offensive

Is this the only thing in the song? I looked the lyrics over and didn't find anything else
Lmaooo this ain’t even racist tho
This is a cultural observation
I guess they could be mad that he’s advocating to rob them
But it woulda been cool if it was black people he was talking about robbing which I’m sure he does all over the rest of the song and album 😂😂😂
Niggas want diet hip hop? Lmao foh

Funnily enough I clicked on the Genius-provided explanation of the lyric and someone wrote a mini thesis on how corrupt banks are in China
Even Asian criminals think the same s***
we know our parents and grandparents don't trust banks
Heroin epidemic here during 80s and 90s was filled with this type of stuff, especially with South East Asians
This line isn't worth worrying about
if i'm missing something it's just the one lyric
"Find a Chinese neighborhood
'Cause they don't believe in bank accounts"
seems pretty insignificant to me? no different than saying any other stereotype like jay-z saying "You ever wonder why Jewish people own all the property in America? This how they did it"
yeah people got mad at hov for that line too for "perpetuating jewish stereotypes of wealth" or something along those lines
Bro who was listening to “Meet the Flockers” by YG in 2021 and decided it would be a good time to be “offended” by it and call him out
Don’t care but this song is hard, thanks for putting me on
whole album goes crazy this isn't even the best song

thats it? ? ? ?? ? ? aiyah
i find that one weeknd lyric about lo mein more personally bothersome than this one
I don't even know how to respond to this
This would create a dangerous slope that would adversely impact all of Hip-Hop. There's no way they could in good faith do this.
All people who work 9-5 please now listen to “Money Trees” by Kendrick Lamar and magically pretend it affects your life because he mentions how persuasive it is to rob someone who works a 9-5. See how this is a slippery ass slope?
We’re ignoring the culprit of the situation......the underlying reason why he felt a need to rob someone in the first place.
post sum anti-black songs
Literally every rap song talking about shooting somebody or selling d**** to black people can be labeled anti-black
