But you're not impacting personally by them so you don't want to be bothered pushing for them to be removed because either you like the song and/or you're afraid a different song you do like could be next target for something like this. It's not even that you disagree with people's reasons for wanting this down, you just simply can't be bothered.
Problem in America is that most white people have this same attitude on racism... "I know racism is wrong but you got me f'd up if you think I'm gonna lift a finger or sacrifice anything for a cause that doesn't benefit me, you're all on your own." Until people start genuinely giving a damn about other people nothing's ever going to change.
Can’t speak for the others but as a black man I personally think this is a racist song and should be taken down.
The problem is I don’t think a major corporation like Google should be the one to make that decision. Once you open that Pandora’s box people are going to be calling for all kinds of songs to be removed. YG and Def Jam have take it down themselves.
