Thug was recording new songs in late 2015-early 2016 that were gonna be released as SS3, but he changed the title to I’m Up last minute (still the same project though)

then, he dropped a group of songs that didn’t leak recorded in summer 2015 for what was gonna be Hy!£UN35 & called that SS3

& funny thing is, With Them on SS3 was from the I’m Up sessions while Hercules on I’m Up was from the SS3 sessions

so you could look at them as two halves of a whole, but they also stand on their own

Slime Season 1 and 2 are good, but they’re both very bloated

Slime Season 3 is really solid but I think SMF has more standout songs

I’m Up is solid too but it felt like a stopgap release for Thug

And the first half of BTG has some of his best work but it derails after You Said

i like long Thug projects bc he rarely misses imo, but i see SS1 as having higher highs on individual songs while SS2 has a more consistent feel to it as a whole project

I wouldn’t say it’s his best but I could see someone saying it is and I honestly wouldn’t be offended. It’s still a great album imo

Bloated? There are MAYBE 1-2 filler songs on SS1 and that’s pushing it. SS2 has a tad bit more but still solid

i know SL1 gets a lot of hate, but it’s one of my favorite Thug projects

Ss3 underrated by yall

Probably the most accurate title for an album

It made thug commercially viable and basically rapping wise showed why he’s the father of all these new niggas. So many goated flows and beats on that album. Ill get hate for this but it’s easily his most front to back good record

Only thing missing was the melodic, alternative s*** but this record is looking like the continuation of that. To show he’s mastered his bbtg sound

it has some great songs, but so does every Thug project

SMF is just SL1 with A-list feats to me lol
