The album isn't a risk for an artist like Thug.

Drake's verse isn't even the problem, it's that unnecessary beat-switch, it sucks all the energy out of the track

Thug & Trav were killing it on that first-beat, wish Drake just jumped on that instead of the second beat stopping the track's momentum

Funnily enough, I feel like Drake & Travis were the kings of beat-switches in the early 2010s, and post-2015 other artists try and replicate it with nowhere near the same success

Seems like he's wasted his talent imo. He wasn't too lazy for the rapper lifestyle but seems like he was too for the actual work/consistency that comes with being a rapper.

Yeah, the best switch was unnecessary imo. Drake's verse felt like it was for another song. I don't like the song at all. Was expecting something a lot better for a Thug/Travis/Drake song but whatever.

I mean hes f***ing on Riri so I dont blame him tbh. Plus Carti is pretty much the new rocky so its W/E

Its an ok track.. feel they did this before tho, while most of the rest of the album is more experimental and interesting

Rocky is a way better rapper. Carti is a very different artist imo

There’s a couple tracks that haven’t really hit for me yet but overall I’m really enjoying this quite a bit. Some absolute beautiful songs on this album man.
