This album is like Rebirth if Rebirth was actually fire
Lmao that’s a terrible comparison
overly long and bloated
i knew something was gonna be off when I saw every track had a feature
i been listening to this on repeat all day
and ima keep like 5 tracks
Thug missed on this one guys i’m sorry
seems like he was promoting a diff album, we were promised P*NK with that cool 80’s logo
instead of getting SMF’s softer side we got Thug’s version of QUAVO HUNCHO
(and no the similarities dont end with the artwork)
btg is lightyears ahead of this
fax, but he coming off of smf, so this is him heading back in that direction
The way Jucie sneaks in on his verse is so dope
Makes me think he’s still with us
Really good verse
been on repeat all day. loving it.
only song I’m not really fw is the doja track, not gonna try and rank or compare it to anything yet but another solid contribution to thugs discog
f*** you have a nice day
Lmao that’s a terrible comparison
Definitely comparable. Both from rappers who've pushed their delivery to the point that guitar-based music isn't out of the question. Both have a somewhat surface-level appreciation of "rock" music (not a dig on the content here, just an observation). Wayne went for more of a pop-punk approach that worked on a couple tracks. Thug went for a more stripped-back approach (talking in broad strokes, not every single track) that hits for me more than it misses. The overall moods of both projects don't overlap, but at the end of the day the projects undeniably have a similar ethos. Don't see how it's a wild take in any way.
chicken bawk bawk like a ?
Those distorted filtered background vocals in the beat of Recognize Real that sound like they’re singing in an alien language from the future
Can’t stop playing this track
