It definitely sounds like the introspective cousin of SMF. Old Thug ain't coming back, but Young Thug sounds pretty good.
Punk means pure to thug. If you look at it through that lenses it makes a lot more sense.
Also I love how in that interview Thugger was like 'I'm telling stories on this album' then there's literally 1-2 stories on the thing

It's more vulnerable sonically but the bars are standard Thug bars.
