i didn't liked it
basically every song has the same generic guitar looped
i thought this would be more experimental but its just the same s*** Turbo has been doing since 2018 but with less drums and 808s
It ended up just being Thug on pain beats
I disagree this s*** kinda flies by. Also disagree with it not being what he described in the Complex interview. Wasn’t exactly what I expected but I mean, lots of story-telling and most of the songs are more fleshed out than a lot of his previous work. The energy just isn’t necessarily always there. But this is still easily one of the best albums of the year.
Def gonna give it some more plays and more will reveal itself probably. But I feel like I really made sure to put a focus on the lyrics for the listen, and after like the first 6 joints and a couple more towards the end I didn't hear all that much storytelling or feel like the album was "all centered around one point." It was just Thug talking about the s*** he normally does. Nothing wrong with that just not what I expected when I probably should've. Lol
I definitely see what he meant in the interview about making songs like the young niggas tho. Joints like Peepin out the Window and Insure My Wrist fit right in with what's poppin today.
Yeah I haven't enjoyed a thug album THIS MUCH without forcing it since barter 6.. So its officially his best/second best/interchangeable album for me.. I don't see how its even up for debate. This nigga did some cool s*** on this brosay
Did you really have to say brosay
Brosay
That’s my nickname
The only nigga that "ruined" a song with their feature was Rocky lmao thank GOD those Post Malone vocals came in. Post gon always give you a catchy melody to sing along to
Frat album classic confirmed
Rocky, the dude who used to be known for how smooth his flow is and his charisma, comes through with a terribly forced flow sounding insecure af

yeah idk whats up with him
Now I'm thinking maybe he should've did the Punk/Pink thing y'all was speculating
one side with the acoustic/more introspective cuts (Punk) and one side with the fun joints (Pink)
The transition from something like Peepin to Real Nigga S*** is so jarring lmao
I wish that keeping it real really was Contagious.
I f***ed with this one too. The first 6 are really solid, Thug had me fooled
and post dropped a hof hook
Deadass Post don't miss on features/hooks
