cryforhellI’m by no means a Gunna fan and am much more into Thug but this just sounds like an awkward situation for them to be in and I don’t see why Gunna should take the fall for that simply off the basis of blind loyalty to Thug
At the time they got picked up he just had his biggest album debut ever and was peaking career-wise is he supposed to throw that away cuz Thug put him on?

yung goyardSince we don’t live the life of these guys I’ll use an example we can relate to. Let’s say you and your friend at work break the rules and it was his idea. Your boss questions you and says if you tell him the truth about what happened you and him won’t get in trouble. He just wants you to admit it and you do it. It’s pretty easy to see how your friend wouldn’t f*** with you after that even if both of you didn’t end up getting in much trouble. Being disloyal to a friend doesn’t have to be a street thing. This is why it’s easy to see why Thug feels a way on a human level as someone who considered Gunna to be one of his closet friends. Gunna didn’t stick by his side when he needed him most
I don’t think this a***ogy works because afaik Gunna wasn’t involved in the street s***, especially the stuff with Lucci and Nut but I’ll indulge you anyway
I 100% understand being disappointed but circumstantially I’d understand if said friend did so under the impression that if we both admit we was doing dumb s*** we’d get let off the hook but get to keep our jobs rather than risk being fired by being dodgy tbh
Especially with Thug being mostly responsible I don’t think it’s fair for him to hold Gunna to the same standard as himself when he’s suffering collateral damage for his bs
