    Fed interest rates

Have zero effect on inflation regardless of what they want you to think

Stock market is soaring but the stock market isn’t the economy. The value of the market compared to the money supply is the highest it’s been since the dot com bubble i don’t feel good about this

    I was being facetious f*** that b****

Yeah because the job market has been bad every year since after Covid lockdown ended. Have you actually tried looking for a job recently? Not easy especially for new grads

Interest rates affect inflation through increasing/decreasing demand, but the triple whammy Covid/UKraine/Iran were all supply shocks so in that sense you’re right the rates aren’t having a big effect lowering inflations

They might end up calling the 20’s the lost decade like Japan

    Fed interest rates

Explain further. Are you saying that Fed Rates increasing was done to drive up inflation? Because that actually was done to bring it down in which it was actually working until Trump came into office and now wants to lower it which will increase inflation more

Its a old school economics take that doesnt apply anymore but in theory raising interest rates should lower inflation
