Never watched any Kai Cenat media, but i did recently see a clip of him talking with a designer about some boots where Kai complained that the top eyelets around the ankle were open instead of closed rings like they are on the rest of shoe

That told me everything i need to know about Kai Cenat and his new fashion venture

    Im good luv
    Enjoy

The time he’s devoting to it makes it seem way more than just a money grab. A money grab would be to put out a tracksuit like hundreds of other brands do with a design that could come straight off toaboa like Ray did.

Kai seems to atleast attempt to dig deeper with his own taste and with the designing experience. He’s been wearing way more “archive” and is basically catching up on lost time. He’s grown up with New York fashion so that means Nike tech, Amiri, designer sneakers, and designer down jackets.

He has a lot to learn but with the right people around him to help and pair that with his financial capabilities and influence on youth I can see him doing it

You're talking about one of the household name streamers and saying that he cant be in it for money because of how much time he spending on something? A streamer?

I said a money grab meaning low effort offering just to make money. Also making money or wanting to make money is not a crime.

Implying in your first post that a momey grab is lesser-than, then saying "but there's nothing wrong with money grabs" is eating your cake and having it too fam

But i mean, what parts of his recent reinvention are not low-effort?

VIVET is gonna have more real impact than most “high fashion” brands and people don’t want to admit that.

Kai already has millions of people tapped in daily—he doesn’t need approval from fashion circles to move culture. When he drops something, it spreads instantly and people actually wear it.

Even compared to Rick Owens in this conversation, I honestly think Kai Cenat’s VIVET has the potential to hit way harder culturally, just in a different lane.

Y’all can argue artistry all you want, but influence in 2026 isn’t coming from runways—it’s coming from people who already control attention.
