Cost of tickets is too high. I'd rather buy merch and physicals. Which makes me wonder: how does the $$ an artist gets for one vinyl sale, poster, or T-shirt compare to the $$ they get for one concert ticket? Expressed as a ratio since tickets are obviously more expensive. What is the difference on the artist's end between me spending $200 on merch vs. me spending $200 on a ticket?

Everybody knows concerts are more profitable than physicals overall, but artists sell way more tickets than physical copies of their album (at least in the short term), and lot of the tour income actually comes from merch sales.
