Here is how you can do it without using a VPN or using a credit/debit card:

First of all, you need an android device. You can do it with an emulator but i will get to that later.

Step 1 Get the Criterion Channel apk. You can get it from apkpure dot com. Its free and safe. After you did that, simply install it.

Step 2 Now that you have the app on the phone, open it and then it will ask you to register and you are gonna do that as well.

And now comes the important part! They give you mutliple payment options and one of them is google play. Thats the one you will use. My google play payments go through my pay pal account, so i dont have to use a credit card or whatever.

Step 3 Okay what's next? Well, nothing. That's it. "But what about the country restriction?" Yea, what about it? Here's the interesting part. You can't sign up from outside the US using chrome, firefox etc... but you can sign in!

This is why using an emulator should work. You only need the apk to sign up and chose google play as your paying option. When you are done with that, you won't really need it because you can simply watch on whatever device you want.

I actually just caught me a virus on my android which regularly opens the website of some Russian gym which is annoying the f*** outta me atm, and it seems like there's very little you can do about it too So I can't recommend playing around with developer mode for too long, but I'll def try this anyway, sounds amazing

Only thing I used was a free vpn, could easily sign up. Still have no problems. Once you are signed up you don’t have to use a vpn anymore.

nah u can stream from anywhere. Signing Up is the only thing you can't do outside the US

great curation and maybe best after CC but nah this is cope. Criterion is unparalleled for their deep cuts, exclusive restorations and more historical and political angle imo. Mubi is becoming too A24core tbh

plus the new 24/7 live channel feature is too clutch. also they have tons of interviews and director commentaries No other streaming service is doing it like them rn

huh no u right on laptop browser it still works. but usually I was able to use on fire stick as well, for some reason on there now it tells me this:
