The Letterboxd reviews are not as entirely enthusiastic. A lot of 2/2.5 star ratings. Maybe I spoke too soon

The fact that she isn’t classically trained and basically just jumped into it with Superbad is crazy.

Kinds of Kindness was fantastic im very excited for this

She was the best thing about Poor Things even though that film was a missed opportunity

yeah i didnt like that movie but she killed it

i'm coming out as a kinds of kindness truther. i was peer pressured into saying it was just ok but upon reflection it was actually one of my favorites of last year.

first 2 acts are 10/10 to me, 3rd act had some interesting ideas but didn't fully connect. this scene made up for it

That winter when the curse and poor things eras were happening simultaneously solidified Emma as one of my favs to ever do it.

I love that Emma is making such interesting projects now

She could have coasted on the rom com and mainstream movie wave that could have led her to making Netflix movies but she found Yorgos and from there went on to make some really great projects with him and others.
