But he's charged with murder and it's too risky to allow an accused murderer to roam freely. It's just common sense unfortunately.
Would you free an accused child rapist like R-Kelly because he caught CoVid? He's charged with all kinds of rape and child p*** but hasn't been declared guilty yet. He asked to go free and judges told him no.
Also, look what this hooligan did in Florida after being released. he likely ruined any chances Melly had.
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwKhgxggDYIObviously he wouldn’t roam freely, just like 6ix9ine, he’d be on house arrest at a minimum. And if anything he’d probably have to be in a hospital since he has tested positive Corona.
Still, he has been accused of being a murderer and not found guilty, so he is being detained while sick, and from his accounts, not getting the appropriate treatment when he hasn’t gotten his due process. What makes that any different from somebody who broke and entered a house and is accused of that but still hasn’t gone to trial? Just that the accusation is not as severe? The only reason I could see that they realistically wouldn’t let him get treatment is that he has already had to serve jail time previously (even though it wasn’t for murder obviously).
In regards to the video you sent, the situation is not the same. He was a low level alleged offender and they released all of them in that prison who were low level offenders. Of course if you release many people accused of crimes, some are actually guilty and will reoffend that’s just reality.

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwKhgxggDYIThe major point, at least for me, is that Melly has petitioned for them to let him get treatment and they denied it. If they were to look at the case they have so far, and what is likely going to be the official narrative once it’s brought to trial, is that Melly was tipped off that his friends were planning on murdering/robbing/harming him and that he killed them in fear of what was going to happen. The other way they will spin it is that he calculatingly plotted out their murders for some other ulterior motive. In both cases, what’s his motive to go kill others? His chance of reoffending is low just based off what the case will be based on. And I do not agree with giving him bond and letting him walk free, I think he should remain under house arrest at a minimum but they should let him seek treatment for Corona since he is not getting that in jail and has tested positive. He’s still a human at the end of the day, if he dies before he gets his due process, they may let a innocent man die in jail.
