jury won't do anything though
The jury of his peers might not care about justice as much as y'all think. There are some people who think any murder is absolute evil no matter what
violence is never the answer
letting innocent people die slowly and painfully is never the answer

Yes, they are unconcerned about justice, but I believe they could potentially be apathetic about this case and may be motivated by sympathy rather than morality and law. They'll see his ulterior motive and possibly grant some leniency.
It could lead to a hung jury for what I've said and what you said about people considering murder absolute evil.

America has historically told us that this is not reality.

I think he's poking fun at this statement being a talking point for critics of Luigi, and now they're talking about executing him (ie violence)

Part of the reason why I replied with what I said lol
That's what I'm thinking. Obviously the law wants to try and make an example out of him, but they forget that it's still everyday people on that jury who don't feel that bad about what happened to the CEO :jordanlaff3:
jury is hittin em with a Damn Thats Crazy π

theres no way jury allows this line of defense

They can keep pushing that "He was a father and a husband!" s*** all they want. What about the fathers, mothers, children, etc who didn't get a chance to live a long life cause they got their claims denied?
You already know it's gonna be people on that jury who have probably had to deal with the impact of having a loved one who either died or left permanently physically/mentally handicapped due to not being able to afford healthcare thanks to their claims being denied.
They ain't gonna wanna hear that "He was a father and husband!" bullshit.
that's not the criteria for a jury though
if the evidence shows that Luigi clapped that man, then they are obligated to say that

a jury is not obligated to do that huh? the evidence can be whatever but the jury can say "yeah okay well sure he did it but we think he's goated for it and so he walks" and thats that.
