Skimming through it, this just still feels straight up surreal even tho we have been seeing Ye’s brain slowly decay in real time. What a totally deranged album, I don’t like the “he’s gonna kill himself soon” posts but i can’t deny how dark this feels given all the context.

I know some people didn’t like Donda, but to me that was the last great Ye album, and just as symbolized by him sitting in the burning home during the listening events, it feels like the artist we grew up on actually died before our eyes on that moment.
