He definitely sparked it with the first pics of them in 2019 cause of all the croc comparison but crocs did a lot of the work and did a great job on capitalizing on it…so they deserve lots of the credit

In late 2019/2020, they did a bunch of collabs with post Malone, bad bunny, Justin Bieber etc. and Kanye only released one colorway of the foams in 2020

So the foams ended up having to play catch-up which is unfortunate cause they are superior
