Ktt fell off 😿, s*** should be at 100 rn
Let’s wait to see if Drake reply then it can explode
ah we are getting close
look at dat dudes bio, tell me wat it says and y dis fkin dummy is here.
Fair enough but his vocal approach reminds me so much of drake on many tracks and I don’t think it’s entirely coincental. To my knowledge ty didn’t really find his footing until drake was well established so I feel like his formula helped lay the lane that ty thrived in by the time he really popped
Forsure which is why I agree that he would fall into that category as “post-Drake” but I think there are other r&b and rap r&b hybrids acts that draw from Drake way more than Ty does. But Drake has def had a big influence on the industry as a whole.
I see correlations with every one of those songs besides Carnival
Hoodrat doesn't sound like many songs but it does have a similar vibe and sound to Deep Pockets, Drake did a whole house album, he's done songs on Just Blaze, Alchemist, Conductor etc. beats
there's nothing wrong with there being similar sounding songs, they work with similar producers, it makes sense
But he’s acting like Drake pioneered that sound when these are sounds that Ye has already done. Hoodrat literally sounds more like Yeezus than a Drake song lmao the rest are just classic Ye sounds to me
He lowkey did
If ye made FATD ye stans would love it, it’s a pretty adventurous and dark album aesthetically. For me personally the albums are both in the 8 range and the only clear advantage is Vultures being shorter, with vultures having slightly better production and FATD having slightly better performances and lyrics
I'm sorry but no way is FATD an 8. No way.
It’s absolutely hilarious to look back at the Larry Hoover Drake x Ye concert. That s*** was so random and weird.
One of the best nights of my life. Would’ve been maybe the best had drake not almost ruined it w mid

Honestly Nevermind sounds nothing like Paid man
Cole did Drake bogus on that song lol
Scary hours on the site if Kenny gets First Person Shooter’d too next collab
I'm sorry but no way is FATD an 8. No way.
from the leak we have
it is at least a 9
I would play Her Loss more if I didn't have to sit through all these mid 21 Savage verses

Idk, you’ve seen the leaks… could very well be 9 inches

My only complaint with Vultures is Kanye bars
I’m sorry but I don’t hear A Night Off at all on Paid. Could you be more specific?
I mean that’s a style of music that Drake was inspired by from Ye to be very fair. All of those songs are deeply influenced by what Ye did for the game years back.
When it comes to Drake and Ye, the difference is the soul put into the tracks sometimes. Like Circo Loco has no soul to it whereas Everybody has a bit of spice to it with the addition of Charlie and the instrumental being punchy. I’ll say that Ye’s verse is still ass to me tho
When ty says the “I know you the hottest in the city”
It’s the same melody as drake saying
“Something something something in the studio”
I’m not even saying it’s intentional but it’s just an example of their vocal runs overlapping.
That Ye influence argument shaky because Ye didn’t have r&b influence in his singing music. Drake did so it’s kind of different even though the auto tune and stuff was an influence

Vultures doesn't have any 8PM or Tried Our Best tier songs tho

Clown.

It’s his best album since NWTS
only mediocre albums between those two (not counting mixtapes)
