He is always talking about how god made him do this or that. Instead of saying that he wants to do something, he is hiding behind god to make it look humble. Like thats the difference between old Ye and new Ye. Old Ye would've just been like 'fuck it, i think this is fire so im doing this' Now he says phrases like "god is on our side" as if god isnt supposed to treat everyone equally
Those who are Christian (especially Baptist) think certain things like there is a war between good and evil because the Devil wants to corrupt us or whatever. He’s one of those people who think God chose him to go through certain things.
He’s a Christian but religious folks are not rational and use it for personal reasons a lot. Also the man has a mental illness that makes a religious relationship with God, more unreasonable.

JbreezyondeckNot enough or even worth beating yourself up over it imo. Like I’ll still enjoy his music but he’s made it abundantly clear that’s really where my affinity for him stops
I actually liked his personality. Like, I never had delusions that he didn’t say dumb s***. But that dumb s*** was mixed with s*** I did believe in (a passion for art, loving yourself). He was funny and charming and thoughtful at times. His industry connections had me feeling like he was really a nice, sensitive guy at heart. But it’s like the Wizard of Oz now. It’s another Trump story.
