i unironically truthfully believe yandhi would have been one of kanye’s largest albums if it dropped when it was supposed to with the songs we were led to believe were going to be on it. would have given these later years of his career entirely new life

It would've been one of this biggest projects easily, the hype was possibly bigger than it was with TLOP at that time

Even some of my friends in the past who never f***ed with Ye that much asked me daily about Yandhi and when it's finally coming out

I personally think he would've dropped it if Uganda never happened, it always looked like he was in war with himself after he came back from that trip and tried to finish the album while he was lost until he realized at Coachella that he needs to move on from this album

probably wouldn’t have worked that way but idk. just feel like none stan’s really really loved what would have been yandhi. but ofc the final version prolly woulda been a departure from what he previewed around that time.
