I feel like this happens when the song goes through versions. Digital Nas has horrific versions of donda songs, the song comes out with all of it stripped out, and he’s still credited for being part of the process

Mix that kind of crediting in with multiple beat changes (these individual beats themselves probably have multiple people on them) and the vocalists/writers + producers on the samples, and then the vocalists on the Kanye song, makes sense that it adds up tbh
