Honestly feels like Ye just intentionally sabotages his albums

He’ll always fly out to some remote place, bring in dozens of talented artists and producers , and they’ll all make dope s*** together.
But he never ends up finishing the songs, and instead he’ll just frantically make new songs a few weeks before release. And most of the songs will sound rushed

Then eventually the original songs will leak and they’ll usually sound good, and we’ll all wish that he just stuck to his original vision

And then the cycle repeats

This has been his process ever since the need to have physicals ready on release became obsolete. I think those types of deadlines really helped to keep him in check.

But ngl, I genuinely don’t think he’s missed yet with the “scrap everything late and start over” approach. There’s a few gems hidden amongst piles and piles of mid/straight up bad music. People can say what they want about Ye/JIK/DONDA but I’ve not yet been convinced that any full scrapped projects would’ve been better than the actual released ones.
