shaleiroseThat’s the thing, people in real life aren’t “silently stopping supporting him”. His music still gets played at places, he just had his biggest streaming year ever and hasn’t even dropped a new album in two years.
I’d agree with you if people weren’t listening to his music anymore but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. People just don’t care about s*** he says anymore, they just like his music
I think most people, including me, are just morally grey in their actions vs their ideals. Streaming music is low effort and seemingly inconsequential in the moment, especially when you already have your own memories/feelings attached to the music.
That doesn’t mean they don’t think he’s wrong at the end of the day.
