Yeah but it's not a boring boom bap beat its actually really catchy lol selecting a good sample is also part of what makes someone a good beatmaker for this style

The thing is, the critiques against the drumless scene actually apply more to Daytona than they do to the drumless scene. I think people are wrong, and I don’t think that you appealing to the authority of today’s dumb hip hop fans is the good argument you think it is. but we know for certain that those song lengths weren't accurate so they had to be updatedI feel like they never actually shared the link to pre-add DONDA before the second listening party people just found it, this time around Ty$ specifically was saying to pre-add it, I think the title is a massive exaggeration
