With all respect, a half finished demo tape made in about two weeks released on a platform that doesn't even exist anymore is better than the latest offering from Drake which he apparently poured his heart and soul into for over a year and deluded himself into thinking is one of his best ever.

One of these men does indeed need to retire, and at least they seem to sense that given the self-imposed hiatus they will now be taking.

Also, the influence Ye's antisemitism has on the youth is nothing compared to the brain rotting these kids are getting from these streamers. Their views on women, how they treat them, how they treat gays, trans people, etc... it's all going right into their minds at an age where they are most easily influenced.

Ye emboldened people who likely already had these thoughts running through their head. Is it abhorrent? For sure. I f***ing hate that it happened.

But now, because of these f***ing idiots, we're getting an entire generation of boys who are going to grow up with a lower opinion of women and LGBTQ people than we've seen... maybe ever. It's going to cause far more problems, and it's going to hit much closer to home.

I love Kanye's music because he was the first artist I followed as a child. The first album I bought was Graduation. This love for him from a musical perspective will never end, even though his best days are long gone unfortunately but it is what it is.

But we have now reached a point where we can no longer ignore his antics, I'm still very disappointed in what he has done last year. I don't care if he did it on purpose to get out of his deals or not but I will never ever view Ye the same again and thats ok, we can still enjoy his music but it's important that we will point out the obvious mental health issues he has and that he still needs help.

On the other side it's also fair to criticise Drake, with each project he's becoming more misogynistic and I now find his love for racist and scandalous streamers more than weird, s*** is annoying but nothing will change anyway for both artists. Drake will be on his "hiatus" for a year and then we're getting the next 20+ tracks project and Ye will scrap his next project for unfinished stuff.

I fully understand that Ye is an objectively horrible person and I laugh at anyone who tries to maneuver around it or act like his motives are elsewhere.

But I still enjoy the music.

I'm not gonna throw my arms up over a trademark, it's one of countless others that have popped up over the past few years. Is it dumb as s***? Absolutely. Am I going to think any more of it at the moment? No, not really.
