Were there any mumble verses played?
That "we can't find the aux" s*** was probably an excuse to not preview the unfinished parts of the album lol
There was definitely a damn cable at that event

Well it was a hour long hoax then

It's just so bizarre that the entire point they were there was to play an album and they forgot the one cable that they needed to play it lol. But the DJ was playing music just fine
Good for her tbh. If it was me though, this would be the time where I actually would maybe clean my album up a little bit if I’m gonna have my daughter as such an active participant in it but hey, everyone has their philosophy. Kind of weird after the Christian phase but it’s not that bad I guess
It would be worse if he shielded her from his profession and she judged him for hypocrisy down the line, the lyrics are explicit sure but she knows him as a person but also especially as a father. Work (rap and lyrics) doesn’t equal how he is irl. Plus I’m pretty sure she was mainly there cause he wanted to premiere her song in front of a big crowd, it was a sweet moment
Just spitballing here but if Kanye was actually outright hateful and racist towards people I think people might actually disown him and his music.
The antisemitism is one thing but if he outright said that he believes in the eradication of any race I think people would actually stop thinking it's all fun and games.
Definitely. My personal stance at this point is that he's deeply mentally unwell and obviously aiming for reactions more than anything else and I empathize with that, but I wouldn't give any other person saying and doing the s*** he does a pass simply because it's obnoxious even if it's not straight up violent. On top of that, I don't care for his current lyrical style and find myself getting frustrated with everything post-Donda and some of the songs on there to the point that it disrupts my listening consistently. And at that point, f*** it I'll listen to what I enjoy listening to.
Does it f***ing suck that this also happens to be probably the single artist I've listened to the most in my life? Absolutely. But there's plenty of music in the world, including a lot of his own catalog, that I will listen to and enjoy doing so, and plenty of it is directly influenced by his career and contributions to music.
Anyway I'm stoned, I'll listen to this Friday f*** it. I didn't like Vultures, I like a lot of parts of the previews of this and really don't like a lot of others. It's Kanye, I'm not going to not listen, I'm just tired of the whole thing honestly.
My wife LOVES TY$ and Ye so this album is a dream come true for her
For me not so much but I just love music and the experience and I’m excited to see what they make
Me personally? I just hope everyone has a nice time!

Laptop cables are different
If you ask me every cable should be the same

The dj got fired halfway through his set and he stole the equipment

Would be hilarious if so

Yeah but he made his last album clean for her lol he could at least not be so extremely vulgar when she’s with him but I guess if that’s okay with some people then it is what it is
i'm gonna defend kanye here and say he probably did it to make ty happy more than the stans. ty has a song from 2020 where he talks about wanting kanye to release it, so i wouldn't be surprised if he suggested it when the idea of a collab album came up.
I didn't know that, that would honestly make sense.
Lol somehow if that's true it makes me more ok with it, might be his first act of legitimate good will in 10+ years lmao
If i'm Kanye and I have all the files on my phone I'm turning on my bluetooth and connecting to Ty's or the DJ's or whoever's laptop and playing the music like that. Would take 5 minutes.
i was gonna go to suss it out but it was like 600 for day pass
oh hell nah 6 hundo exceptionally foul for a day of that
Is “Everybody” in danger of being taken off the album because of the Backstreet Boys? If so I’d be pissed . Sounds like a dope ass intro.
Well it was a hour long hoax then
yeah and they had a guy say "hey they can hear us on the mics" and cutoff the mics afterwards to keep the mirage going

People paid $12,000 for a table to hear a DJ play a spotify playlist and then an hour long wait for Kanye and Ty to play 30 minutes of the album

anyone spending $12k on that is not worried about it like you would be

Really pisses me off because he's always been such a consistent person!!

I'm definitely extremely curious about how this plays out tbh
