the dumbass bleached a****** line on father stretch is a stain on an otherwise perfect song
Bleach stains are the worst

so beautiful
They play this one earlier?
im most likely older than you, I just have fun and don't take things seriously
I love the craziness
Facts. I have a kid on the way. I have a mortgage. I have a career Iām building. I already invest a lot of time in design and art. I just like the entertainment.
24 writers, 8 producers, 16 freestyles, 8 months of work, 4 countries, 132 hours... All worth it

Someone give me the honest summary
Donda 2 had way more potential and got scrapped. If he couldnāt bother to finish that I donāt see why heād bother to finish this
Crine
Some people itt taking music way too seriously. This sounds good so far. Everything else (the party) was huge trash tho
huge huge trash
i ... like the everybody verse
like compare it to ty dolla sign and lil baby
they're just saying generic s*** but ye's verse is so crazy and out there
Verse 1: Kanye West
When I talk to the shrink, you bеtter not blink
Ninety-nine problеms, it start with the kink
One in the pink, one in the stink
When you said it down, is it still mink?
Come sue me, MeToo me
Survivin' Ye, come shoot me
You wanna color me bad like a coojie
You wanna pack me up like a Tumi
Everybody wait for me to say the wrong thing
Okay, you the king, Burger King
I'm finna make a scene, murder scene
'Cause homie we done seen everything
"YOU " is You not me
I dont think of music as a decline I think of it as what an artist needs to make at the time to help them. I think Lupe recent material including AI isnt for me often but I am not going to bemoan it on the internet and tell anyone who likes it that they are yes men. All his old music still exist. This idea that when an artist drops something new we have to act like the old them died. Versus them making what they need to make a the time for their own happiness is silly. If I f***s with something I f***s with something
Obviously parts of vultures and many songs played tonight are cringe but Ye is undeniably much happier than Donda 2 and to some degrees Donda 1 . Sometimes he needs to make certain art and go through certain things to get to a better head space. Him going through all that hatred, trolling, losing billions of dollars, his family, threatening a community shouldn't have to be done for his art or his life. But an artist alive creating whether its their best or worst material is better to me than a dead artist be it of overdose, life style or death on the streets
But there is no contradiction there at all. I said what I said.
Now if you have an actual response I am here
"I dont think of music as a decline I think of it as what an artist needs to make at the time to help them."
But you do realize music has....an audience. Audience that listens to said music has the right to...judge said art. That's the literal point of any medium.
"I think Lupe recent material including AI isnt for me often but I am not going to bemoan it on the internet and tell anyone who likes it that they are yes men. All his old music still exist."
The AI s*** corny but most of Lupe's new stuff is far times way better than ye's new stuff. Also Lupe dropped Drill Music in Zion literally last year. Ye has not dropped anything of QUALITY quality since Pablo (that's my opinion. Donda has moments but it's too bloated.)
"This idea that when an artist drops something new we have to act like the old them died. Versus them making what they need to make a the time for their own happiness is silly. If I f***s with something I f***s with something"
No but 3000 said it best "you're only funky as your last cut" and that any artist in any genre of music will be judged by their output in what they put out. Eminem and Lil Wayne are undoubtedly legends and no one's taking that away from them. I can still say that their latest outpouring of discography has been the equivalent of doo doo butter. If they felt proud in their work that's great. I'm sure Hov felt proud in Magna Carta when it came out too. Majority of Hov's fanbase didn't.
And we got 4:44 out of that.
THAT'S what happens when you have an artist that isn't afraid of critique and isn't afraid to improve and build upon what people know of what they can do.
"Sometimes he needs to make certain art and go through certain things to get to a better head space. Him going through all that hatred, trolling, losing billions of dollars, his family, threatening a community shouldn't have to be done for his art or his life. I really really wish we stop doing this (well, he gotta do this because it's either this or bro dead) trump card for ye like he's the only artist to actively suffer from mental illness. It's a lot of artists, current artists that suffer from those same things that ye got. Alot of those niggas didn't actively self sabotage their career, harm their loved ones, and lose billions of dollars while alienating a community that did nothing to deserve it. So once again, why do we gotta put the kiddie gloves on for the billionaire?
Once again, this is critique.
the dumbass bleached a****** line on father stretch is a stain on an otherwise perfect song
They still donāt get it
I feel like the snippets will be the best thing about this album
Lol that brief moment when you guys were imaging it was good
I donāt even know how to feel about his stunting tho cause I donāt even know what heās doing with his life
āBetter ownerā
Are you?
Beats me
Saying that after an event you put on struggled with playing music for 30 mins is hilarious
Yes I loved it
Lying to yourself
Or awful taste
But more likely just a Stan/follower of the cult of personality of ye
I was kinda f***ing with the album
iād think the hiatus would have him in a deeper bag/more substance
I also think music is better when itās used as an expression of self and self-experience rather than be used as a shambling corpse for money and fame and attention
That hiatus wouldāve given a lot of time to experience, to reflect, to develop, and grow
I remember saying when DONDA dropped that I didnāt want him to come back w music for another five years and to just live a life that would give him the inspiration for something truly great
Maybe I wished too hard
24 writers, 8 producers, 16 freestyles, 8 months of work, 4 countries, 132 hours... All worth it

Nah bro is meta irony, this verse is actually good ur just not seeing it
I was kinda f***ing with the album
you won't find any rational discussion on this project itt until 3 weeks after the album releases (lol)
