I have to agree with you because I guess people praising it on yeezus enabled him to keep going in that direction. But I canât deny that in a vacuum it was kind of an interesting direction for that particular album to take in that moment.
It wouldâve made the statement much more powerful if he went on to other s*** after though. Now it kind of just makes it seem like he got dumber

Nah most of the guys you name outside of like Freddie wouldn't have fit. Earl don't even make complete songs anymore, it's usually a verse with an off kilter half asleep delivery over a sample loop. Which works for what he does but Ye's style ain't that underground for that
