I think technically this is drawing from a slightly different viewpoint on songs like Time Moving Slow and Slide than Renaissance which was definitely more of a general exploration of the genre of black dance music but regardless Renaissance is one of the best albums of all time so that's a W (also Renaissance has some cringey lyrics... cringey lyrics are fun!)
