That’s the opposite of what I think

There are so many great artists and producers who are completely outside of the industry because they don’t have the connections

Evian Christ seems like he’s coasting off connections, hasn’t done much tangible work and you guys just seem to know him from the Ye connection, people keep telling me he’s “worked a lot with Ye” but he helped on one beat, even y’all are somewhat confused on what he’s done

He’s getting this placement because hes a part of the industry world already and has a relationship with Ye, not because of his merit

If Ye was tryna really push s*** forward and make the best s***, he would pull a random kid out of a pro tools class in Chicago or something and he would easily find a more talented person. Any college music class in the country has at least 3 people who are more qualified than Evian Christ

Like you said, it’s a whole world out there. So why would oanye work with some dude who helped on Yeezus 10 years ago? Let’s get some new vibes in here. Listen to the kids. Stop chasing past eras

Ye shouldn’t be working with someone who has been on the electronic scene for 10 years, he should be working with new talent for fresher sounds imo. If you have infinite choices like he has, there’s no reason to stick yourself in the past like that
