it’s dark and disturbing. sucks that he featured a representation of a real person and used their “name”
but with that removed, the artisticness of it all is great
From a critical standpoint, I’d argue that that context is so baked into the work that it ruins the parts I do like aesthetically. Less controversial but similar to Heaven and Hell’s video being f***ing dope up until the final reveal of it being a Gap ad, which instantly ruined all replay value for me and kind of cheapened the rest of the message
