I'm afraid this is gonna another case of Kanye having a point while also at the same time completely missing the point.
He'll probably come with a (justified) critique of liberals vision for black history month where it's little more than black trauma p*** and white guilt bullshit. But I think he's gonna throw out the baby with the bathwater and say we shouldn't look at our history at al... No.
We should always look at our history (and that of others for that matter) in order understand how things became the way they are and find a better way to move forward. This should go deeper than just crying about how tragic s*** is (which is just trauma p*** and only hurts the psyche without having anything to show for it) and actually seriously a***yze history.

Liberals do react to conservatives, but they do it in the wrong way is the point. And if we're gonna talk about black history specifically, even if it's not to the same extent, they are just as guilty of whitewashing black leaders and thinkers and presenting them to us as sanitized icons devoid of their radical stances.
