I also remember Sacramento weirdly being a big topic in my circle amongst people I knew. I had two friends drop him after that.

I think the hate after VMAs was the most he's ever received.
I've seen old news sites and forums with the most racist comments imaginable, that too over something that seems very tame now after all that has happened.
They really took offense over him doing it to a white girl like crazy.
