I like the new ones. The old vocals were kinda in a gray area, because he recorded the song, then ran his own vocals through Ye-I apparently.

Donda was great but too bloated

This has less bloat and flows together really nicely

Donda does have higher highs but lower lows

Donda is also edited which is really annoying

I'm with you, I just don't know how much I love the idea of artists "never aging" because they're always running their vocals through an AI to make them sound like the perfect version of themselves

Obviously, engineers already work to make vocals sound 1000x better than the raw recording, and I think that's fine. I just don't know where the line should be drawn.
