Pokerking4128Bro, my favorite artist ended up being probably the only artist of such calibre to use AI so heavy, from beats to vocals. Like even Wayne used it only for samples. It is truly sad for me, as I am also a creative person and see all this AI s*** as devil's work.

That was fake, he had a whole Japanese band recreate the Bully sample and every member is credited on it. And you have to still get it cleared, even if you get it recreated.

Like some people already consider pop music a slop just because of how it is mass produced and catered, but using AI means getting rid of the last thing that makes art meaningful.I never said to do away with imperfection, imperfection can be beautiful. Sometimes the best product is imperfect. I said let the art be what the art wants to be. Right now AI is imperfect to the point where it can be an aesthetic choice, especially if you're leaning into postmodernism.

Bully the song, that's the one people thought was AI'd to get around clearance (which was bs anyways as you need to get it cleared regardless).
Most songs have their samples intact except Highs and Lows, which they completely revamped, that too without AI.
The samples they couldn't clear are not on the album like This One Here, Highs and Lows, Damn Intro, etc

Drake released just ton of finished songs, basically one ok album and two DLCs lol. Multiple music videos, etc.
On the other hand, fans beg Ye to update his almost 3 months old album.
JIK was finished and no AI, Ye too, Vultures 1 if he just put some fire tracks like Slide or Take Off Your Dress there, would've been a classic.
During JIK era Ye did multiple Sunday Service performances, his heart was there, he was cooking on Ye with that ambitious idea of dropping 5 EPs produced by him. On Vultures TY didn't let him slack too much.
On the other hand, Bully is just pure laziness, songs spent years in production hell, didn't get any verses or changes. He doesn't even want to record it. All those attempts to tap into old CD/LR Ye just look cheap and cheesy to me, like he couldn't even drop two verses.It's fine you listen to an underground rapper but I was talking the mainstream. And Drake is not a good comparison cause he dropped 40 tracks and 25 are trash
Also, don't agree with any of your opinions. Bully with or without AI is better than ye, JIK, V1 and V2.

I see it as Ye had nothing to say, he even has choruses on songs where he says one verse lol. In all albums except Vultures 2 and Donda 2 (player version), I searched for greatness, as I saw Ye as a great artist who can not miss and it means that I probably didn't bring my taste up to understand.
But on Bully he got so lazy, he is not even in the studio, he didn't care about this album at all. I would say he probably had great fun bumping those beats on ASR10 but anything else was just a chore to him.

Action Bronson is fun, he is not one of those rapping about coke over one violin and sample of wailing lady type rappers.
You just hate Drake lol, I enjoyed Ice Man, I enjoyed like 5 tracks out of 11 on Habiti, and 1-2 songs on Maid of Honour, but last one is not my genre at all. It is like full album of this Teayana Taylor song from 2018 lol.
Bully not better than V1 as V1 has straight up finished songs with Ye being enthusiastic about being controversial s***demon lol, but he is interested in it.
Same with JIK, have you seen him performing God Is, he seemed more into it then any songs from Bully performed live.
V2 is bad that's all lol, another AI slop like Bully.
I don't really like Ye as it doesn't have many verses lol and in a way just abandoned ideas like No Mistakes, why such a cool beat and it just ends.
But in the moment Ye meant every word on this album, so he stood behind it I guess.
On Bully he just lazily participates on some of those songs.
