    HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA

I like Dylan’s 2010’s and onward stuff but the 80’s - 00’s has never been for me.

Neil however has no misses in my book

Not even Time Out Or Mind? Such an opus

Time Out of Mind is great, Modern Times is okay, but he doesn’t really start getting back into a full album groove until Tempest to me

    Neil young vs. Bobby?

Total quick question cause I know bobs your bias.

Bobby more important culturally, I like Neil more personally.

I relate to Neil’s lyrics more and his musical passages are (in my opinion) more interesting

But im also more of a simple lyrics complicated music guy and Bob’s the exact opposite of that. That’s not to say I’m not a fan tho I love a lot of those songs

Nah I don't really have a bias cause I was raised on Neil and have extreme nostalgia for growing up on our farm with his early classics playing all the time.

Had to discover Bob on my own which was extremely fulfilling in a totally different way. I just give him the edge cause he had already had an insane, world changing hot streak by the time Neil showed up, and we probably wouldn't even have a Neil if it wasn't for Bob. However I'm a big fan of epic guitar rock which Bob never did so that nearly evens them out for me. and Neil does have my favorite song of all time, Cowgirl In The Sand

Like I said Neil's 1980s and most of the 90s blows Bob's away. Neil had some classic material since the 90s but not nearly as much as Bob. So they're about equal to me but there's no question that Bob is Neil's OG.

Like I always say, nobody can touch the width, depth, highs and lows of either of their careers.

    Favorite song of all time?

Yeah mom was playing Harvest Moon all the time too. Such A Woman and especially Natural Beauty are so beautiful

But then so is Key West from just a couple years ago

haven't heard anything on that level from Neil in a long time.

"This A Must" feels so out of place to me.

    Idk.

I love his verse, but how it starts & ends abruptly throws me off.

Plus that generic ass beat is God awful.
