I don't know if my a***ysis would be wrong, but I think Ye resembles Dr Dre a bit. Like I heard that Dr Dre likes making music, etc. He might book sessions, but he doesn't drop s***. So he does it just out of enjoyment. I think same is relevant to Kanye, like he records with Lauren Hill and chances that we are going to hear it officially are like 3％, he previews songs that probably not going to get cleared in forever, and finally when he even releases stuff, it is like his heart is not in finishing that project anymore. Maybe for him Beauty and the Beast is finished when it is an AI vocal as the rest is just technical and not connected to his process. Same can be applied to short songs, like idea is already realized, so it is time to move on to the next one, no point in stretching something to 3 or 4 minutes, in adding other verse, it is all boring routine.
