Release night for Bully didn’t feel real.

Not to @deltarose. Not even to @pussy_bacon—who, for once, wasn’t posting.

They ended up in the same room almost by accident. A mutual friend’s place, dim lighting, a couch that had definitely seen better days, and a pair of headphones passed back and forth like something fragile.

At first, they didn’t say much.

Just:

“You ready?”

“Yeah… I think so.”

When the first track started, they sat a careful distance apart—close enough to share the moment, far enough to pretend it wasn’t intentional.

The music filled the room.

Something raw. Unfinished. Beautiful in a way that didn’t ask permission.

Halfway through the second track, @pussy_bacon let out a quiet:

“…okay, this is kinda insane.”

@deltarose smiled, barely.

“Yeah. I told you.”

That was the first shift.

Not the music—the space between them.

By track four, they weren’t passing the headphones anymore. They were sharing them—one ear each, leaning in slightly, shoulders almost touching.

Almost.

Neither of them made the first move.
Both of them noticed.

Every once in a while:
• their arms brushed
• one of them adjusted the cable and lingered a second too long
• they’d laugh at the same moment, then immediately look away

Like the album itself, it was messy. Unspoken. Real.

At some point—neither of them could say when—@pussy_bacon leaned just a little closer.

Not enough to be obvious.

Enough to matter.

@deltarose didn’t pull away.

That was the answer.

Then, of course, the door opened.

@ralph_cifaretto stood there for a second, taking in the scene:
• the shared headphones
• the very deliberate not-touching
• the way both of them froze like they’d been caught doing something illegal

He blinked.

“…am I interrupting a listening party or a romcom?”

Neither of them answered.

@pussy_bacon looked down.
@deltarose suddenly found the floor fascinating.

Ralph laughed.

Not mean—just surprised.

“You guys are really out here falling in love to unreleased Kanye West leaks, huh?”

Still no response.

He shrugged, walked in, and—without asking—flopped down next to them.

“Scoot. I’m not missing this.”

Now it was three of them.

The headphones got split in the most impractical way possible.
The couch somehow felt smaller.

And yet… easier.

The tension broke—not all at once, but enough.

Track six hit differently.

Something warm. Almost hopeful.

Without thinking, @deltarose leaned back slightly.

@pussy_bacon followed.

Their shoulders touched—this time on purpose.

Ralph noticed. Of course he did.

“…so we’re doing this?”

A pause.

Then, quietly:

“Yeah,” @pussy_bacon said.

@deltarose nodded.

Ralph grinned.

“Alright. Guess this is happening.”

He settled in, throwing an arm lazily across the back of the couch.

“Bully throuple. Historic moment.”

They all laughed—soft, a little awkward, but real.

And as the album kept playing—glitchy, beautiful, unfinished—they stopped worrying about what it meant.

No big declarations.
No dramatic moves.

Just:
• shared music
• quiet closeness
• and the strange feeling that this moment, messy as it was, was exactly right

Somewhere between tracks, @pussy_bacon whispered:

“…this might actually be top 3 Ye.”

@deltarose smiled.

“Give it time.”

Ralph shook his head.

“You’re both insane.”

But he didn’t move.

None of them did.
