AbyssMost reviews read like high school essays.
Its an easy cop out for a reviewer to say the songs are undercooked because most songs are short instead of actually engaging with the album and look if there is intention behind it. Most of them want to give it a bad review anyway, so they'll just look for the easiest angle to take which is the song length and content.
But why aren't most Vultures or Donda songs short? Could it be that there is actually a consistent approach in how Kanye wants to tackle the songs on Bully? None of the reviewers want to actually go that far.
That would require actual thinking which Im pretty sure journalists are morally against

In a vacuum Cuck would've been a great album. I don't think anything like that will ever be made again for better or for worse.
