So is this for real good or are yall trolling? Is it really another donda level album from Kanye in the year 2026?

not Donda level to me, it's a bit below Donda both production wise and thematically, I don't feel like Ye is emotionally invested in many of these songs. it's a fine album and Good by many other artist's standards, like if Travis Scott or Jack Harlow dropped this album it would be a classic. But to me, part of being a fan of Ye / Kanye is the fact that in his prime, he'd pour himself 100% into an album, and while I understand that to do that today would likely be a massive detriment to his health or emotional state, it does feel like Ye is 'coloring inside the lines' a bit with this joint.

vs the Donda album which while a bit messy and heavy handed with features to some people, is one of the most raw albums in his discography, and is a real journey of an album.

I don't hear most of these joints and get the same visceral feeling of a track like Never Abandon Your Family, New Again, or Come To Life. not only from a lyrical POV but production wise there's not a ton of stuff on here that feels like it reflects the mental state Ye was actually in these last few years... it's almost too clean to feel real, especially with a name like BULLY, maybe I was expecting this to be a very angry album.

Sisters & Brothers is great, Mama's Favorite dope too.
All The Love is GOATED for sure. good album, but not really 'classic' for Kanye.

but nowhere near as bad as the worst of Donda 2

never heard Vultures 2 but I hear people trash it all the time in that tier

I may check it out just for fun now that I have this to cleanse my palette with tbh

I will say, even back before he went in that manic rant he said in an interview that he was trying to flip the context of the word bully and give it a positive connotation or something like that

  • Ye is actually back. God bless

  • Now I wish I had paid attention to his listening parties--but honestly, was worth tuning out of everything ye these past two years cuz it was hard watching someone not get the help they needed. especially as someone himself who has his own goddamn problems and needs to reach out (and has evolved and actually figured out how to finally after too long).

Don Toliver might be the most overrated artist ever, the only listenable project is Heaven Or Hell. You could replace him with every other artist and you probably wouldn‘t even notice it

    Just straight up boring music

    damn, this is wild

I really love Don's music & feel like his albums are dope, he has a great vocal texture and his melodies can be insane when he gets in his bag.. he typically has very good production as well

it sucks that he's falling out w/ Ye like so many other collaborators but I didn't know so many Ye fans dislike the guy
