Honestly why would or why should anyone care?
Being mad on the internet isn’t going to stop AI from developing and if consumers like the result why should they care how it’s made?
You might say it undermines the creativity of actual artists but how is that different than robotic factories undermining the craftsmanship of company that manufactures their products by hand?
If it’s “bad” it will have no utility in people’s lives and they won’t like it or engage with it. If they like it they will consume it same as always and hand crafted non generative music will become niche
