serenadei honestly think recording vocals is just his least favorite part of the creative process. let's not forget how many songs on donda have dem jointz punch-ins because he just straight up did not want to rerecord those verses. i'm sure the only reason he didn't use AI sooner is because the technology wasn't there.
that said though, he seems to value fan opinions a lot more these days, so i think he'll try to rely on it less moving forward.
Recording vocals is boring, it's better to use AI, writing verses is boring it's better just to use CyHi, making demos is boring, it's better to use Ant Clemons, making beats is boring it's better to have 10 producers doing beats for you, etc.
