he's barely on the song because of the concept of the song. It's meant to showcase loneliness. He's sitting on the moon and he finally gives in to the feeling of grief in this gentle, delicate way, it makes narrative sense.

well it's certainly more grounded and personal than the party that is Vultures.
I wouldn't call Donda grounded either though, only for the fact that it's focused as more of a testimonial to faith rather than a stable and coherent self examination which Bully appears to be

The other problem for me with Donda is he took great versions of songs and made them worse to fit Christianity.
