Dark Fantasy as an album gets reaaaally long if you a***yze the songs, most of them have unnecessary long outros (and no I'm not talking about Runaway), it's a beautiful album but overproduced

people really expect him to rank his albums solely from a sonic point of view, just shows most of you never made music for yourselves

i’m at a point where i completely understand what he’s saying but for me the execution of this has been comparable to his music in the last couple years. flashes of great ideas not given enough time or consideration to be executed in a palatable way for people to be able to digest. I wish he would’ve given this more thought but he didn’t so he’s selling a swatstika t-shirt. Now if he sold the shirt and then posted at least some explanation or framing that’s an interesting idea, but instead it’s like he posts something inflammatory waits for reaction then picks and chooses what it means based on people’s interpretation. which just isn’t enough for me. the work is too volatile and off putting and frankly not interesting enough to be given the benefit of the doubt
