Relistened to V2 today and production wise it's clear Ye still has it if he wants to, his problem are his lyrics, the subject matter, sometimes the choppy flow, not the beats

It’s not the worst s*** to drop even that year but it’s definitely not up to Ye’s standard, just feels disjointed and like he didn’t even work on it

V2 has truly some gems and I even think it's more creative than V1 imo but it feels so.... strange? Like, we know Ye wasn't that involved anymore at the end and Ty pushed for it. At least we got River out of it

it feels like that because it got cluttered with old and weak songs, make it a 10 track album and its solid

The intro always sounds fire

When the verses start is where things get tricky - either the raps/flow is good or it sounds like a 2 pack of ass and/or incomplete mumbles.

New Bully snippets sounds great don’t me wrong, but we all know new Kanye is capable of ruining his own songs.
