Not at all.
Vultures 1 is actually great, I believe people will come around to it in a year or 2. Great music, flows super well and no stinkers.

Vultures 2 is a mess though with some highlights. Some songs like River, Slide will probably get their due but the album as a whole won't.

Vultures 2 has more good songs, better versions of songs(Fried>>Carnival), better rapping, better hooks, replay value, better everything. Album literally starts off with

Thats the best opening run to a Ye album since....KSG? lol and the second half features 530, Forever, Forever Rolling, River, City. All of those are good to great records

Not saying V1 is bad, it's pretty good too. But the way the online Ye community acts like V1 is some masterpiece in comparison to V2--all because of demoitis and AI on 1 or 2 songs, is hilarious Same way y'all act like Donda is some elite level compared to any post TLOP Ye. Everything post Yeezus is on the same level, just a matter of taste imo

I believe Vultures 1 has better songs overall personally and doesn't have very low lows.

I think rapping (atleast when it's actually Ye) is pretty much the same level, specially considering that most Vultures 2 tracks are actually from Vultures 1 sessions.

Vultures 1 has a pretty strong start barring Talking (which actually isn't even bad just not enough Ye for my liking) and is consistent throughout. I end up playing the whole album whenever I click on Stars.

I'll have to disagree on qualities of some of those songs. I agree songs like River, Slide, Time Moving Slow and a few more are awesome but I think rest are just average or straight up bad. AI is a pretty huge deal breaker for me and others, specially when it's super noticeable like Sky City.

I don't believe the demoitis argument really works in this case specifically cause even most Vultures 1 songs were out in high quality for like 2 months. It just didn't have that many complaints cause lot of them were simply upgrades or unchanged.
With Vultures 2, I think some songs and aspects were pretty clear downgrades. Like there was honestly no need for that first released River version. The Lifestyle hook by Ty was obviously better. But yeah, I think songs like Time Moving Slow would have had better reception if demos weren't available, the song was good I wish he didn't listen to the fans and neuter the drums. I'm glad he atleast didn't change the Lifestyle beat to the old one.

Overall Vultures 1 was just a great relatable project to me with great execution music wise. It did feel like Ye actually cared for it and had a solid vision with the whole rollout and album.

Vultures 2 just feels like an aborted fetus brought back to life. Ye clearly didn't care for it at all and didn't bother working on it for a long time, didn't bother promoting it or posting about it until like 5 days after the release that too cause the embarrassing sales projection came out. Feels like they just took whatever finished songs they had and put them on the album and slapped AI on others to put out the album for the sake of putting it out.
It was obvious he had no vision for the album that released and the entire team has kept succumbing to fan demand for the most useless s*** ever. The only demand I wish they'd listen to is re-recording the AI stuff but clearly he doesn't care enough for it or doesn't see it as something wrong.

I'm glad it came out cause otherwise it'd become another Yandhi or Donda 2.
