I don't listen to that crap either lol
These are incrediblly important people in the lineage of both music and art. So yeah. Idk then. It seems you don’t care about the form and have no interest in it either. Thats just the tip of the iceberg.
he went from having some of the greatest videos of all time to total AI bullshit. i hate this timeline
Brother we’re talking 2004-2013 and 2016-2025
2001-2016 was firing on all cylinders either production wise or solo music wise TLOP is still a prime era album. His solo music took a dip in 2018 but he still produced 2 great albums that year in Daytona and KTSE. JIK was not good, Donda was good albeit bloated. Then Vultures series was not my cup of tea but 1 is a passable album, 2 is very bad. So for me it’s not as crazy as you make it out. Adding a year that started 8 days ago is crazy work too.
No offense, but it’s very clear your understanding of art and its history is quite limited. But Ai art especially in music is incredibly inevitable. Some of the greatest composers / artists of our time were finding ways to automate their work because they wanted to strip music of any ego.
John Cage constantly contributed to composing music through chance based methods to generate compositions.
Mozart literally invented a dice game to create music because he wanted to add randomness that existed outside of human intention.
Brian Eno is not only one the greatest producers of all time but also created some of the very first Ai generated music for his ambient series.
Ryoji Ikeda used his own data sets to create music and visuals through computation.
David Bowie (frequent collaborator with Eno) was always on the look out of the best tech to build music with. At one point he cut up words and starts stringing then together to do his lyrics.
There’s a bunch more but the point being, you (and plenty of people on this site) have a very narrow mind on the subject matter and are not really engaging with it in a way that seems productive because the points being brought up are incredibly shallow and surface level. The use of Ai in music has also been happening for more than 40 years so like
What an awful post. This is what it looks like when you think you’re educated on a topic lmfao

I already said AI can be used in interesting ways as a tool to create music too and I'm not against that
I don't think using it to do your verses you were too lazy to finish is an example of that I support

How is this uneducated
How is this uneducated
You’re a moron, not engaging this topic with you further
i actually like the video and the first half of the song
but it would sound better if he recorded it himself
Missed my whole point entirely.
Quality of music has nothing to do with it.
Plenty of trash artists get backed by the industry and machine.
I'm talking about how they both severed ties with the industry and ended up losing tons of promo and marketing pushes due to that.
Also, I was touching on what happened to Prince AFTER the 90's when he s***ted on the industry, tried to get his music off of all digital platforms, and fought to get his money back. You're so caught up in this stan s*** that you missed the whole point lol.
i hate when people do that when you compare 2 artists and the comparison had nothing to do with music lol
