Ye is a very good album

yeah to enjoy these songs you really have to tune the raps out altogether, with the exception of ghost town maybe and the opener which imo has good lyrics, but unfortunately the beat sucks now

I think it was made to help a relatively narrow group of people compared to his other works. It was just such an authentic window into who Kanye was at the time and how he expressed himself, not as many people could connect with that version of Kanye. Tbh that factors into why I love it so much though. He didnt care if it isolated poeple or not, he just showed that window of himself anyway, which is my favourite thing art allows someone to do.

But I think 'ye' not overhated at all. A lot of the tracks have mad streams. For many people it's actually pretty special, the way you're feeling basically. I don't see or feel it at all tho
