The hating so gets old and tiring
I’m surprised drake hasn’t went crazy from all of it
it’s starting to show lately tbf
U live in drake threads lil bro
it’s starting to show lately tbf
ya the cracks are showing
still can’t believe he dmed that c***Fantano
I mean he's old
This is like the standard old guy opinion on drake
It has been for like over a decade
This isn't shocking
Just had a beautiful night yesterday exchanging music until 4am on my speaker. So again bro, keep that trolling s*** over there lol
Some guys get all the luck… 😔
he’s taken hip-hop to unprecedented levels popularity wise, gave out hits to other artists, blended rap and R&B in his own way which gave birth to niggas like PND/Tiller (take it or leave it)
he definitely changed the game, whether or not it’s a good change is up for debate
lol PND & Tiller are not really anything to brag about. I don’t really think Drake has done that much influence wise that hasn’t been done before him. The apple deal is why he’s even at the position he’s in now, take that for what it is.

Mos def probably knows more about hip hop than me too so I'm not gonna like argue with him
But it's not like a shocking take to have and idk why people would still be upset about it

Doja and Summer Walker
So Drake cant be hip hop because he is too popular ?
old heads running out of things to say to discredit the boy.
these folks would rather hype up taylor or morgan wallen before giving one of their own they props.
deserved or not, the biggest issue drake has is that there will always be a lot of jealousy from people, because real talk compared to him most will look bad.
mos def a legend but i doubt he is really tapped in with the current state of hip hop nor drakes music.

PND and Tiller are not hip hop.
List some impactful hip hop artist in the last 10 years that were inspired by drake (besides Jack Harlow)

I agree. And he definitely deserves respect for being one of the biggest rap artists ever. But I think to Mos Def’s point, what does that do for the audience? Was has he said in his music that has left a lasting imprint on culture? Are his biggest songs going to boil down to “buying and selling?”
