My guess is Reborn was originally meant to be on PPDS with a Ye feature, cause its still a Cudi produced track

kanye is doing the hook and the verse , so cudi and dot probably gave it to ye , he didn't know what to do with it so he gave it back ? then cudi did reborn with it then decided not to release it and that's how it ended up on kids see ghosts ?

My guess is Cudi played Ye the beat at start of 2016 when they were in the studio working on Pablo, Ye kept onto the beat and when they started working on KSG in 2017 Ye found it and they revisited it

nah man , I don't know the link but I saw in an interview ( I think from complex ) , cudi saying reborn was the only song that was already recorded ( without Kanye's verse ) and it was going to be on PPSD like you said but cudi felt he still wasn't truly ok back then so it didn't make sense to release it

n the We Are leak gives more credence to the idea that the 30 hours outro/mumbling was def intentional cus he had the beginnings of the "my idea to have an open relationship" part. so he kinda expanded upon that idea, but also not really cus he left it as mumbles n open-ended ideas in the end
